SPYDERCO ENDURA - ZYTEL HANDLES

Spyderco revolutionized lightweight pocket folding knives with the release of their Delica and Endura models in the early '90s. These two CLIPITs introduced the public to lighter cutting tools (in two sizes) that were economically priced and featured one-hand opening and closing. Spyderco has taken the next evolutionary step and now offers these two cornerstone models with three fresh innovative features: a reversible left/right stainless steel clip, an enhanced handle texture and high carbon stainless steel blades.

The new pocket clip detaches and can be affixed to either side of the handle. A hollowed out screw fits through (yet retains) the lanyard hole, holding the clip in place without pivoting or slipping. With a more aggressive Volcano Gripä pattern, the fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin handle offers comfortable improved handling and lasting durability. Both models are offered in a SpyderEdgeä, PlainEdgeä or 50/50 blade configuration. In keeping with the original versions, they remain ultra-light, the Endura weighing 2.6 ounces (72.4 grams) and the Delica 1.7 ounces (48.5 grams).

The Spyderco Endura model is the cornerstone of the knife industry and started the trend toward lightweight folders. It is a favorite everday carry and everyday work knife for the folks in the serving and saving professions.

The Spyderco Endura (Nylon Handles) has the following features:

• For 2002, Spyderco has changed the blade steel to VG-10
• Look closely and you will notice a new grind; it's flat, not hollow.
• Available in three edge configurations: PlainEdge, SpyderEdge (Fully Serrated) and 50/50 combo.
• A David Boye dent is part of the locking lever.
• The scales are black FRN with a volcano grip texture.
• Has a deeper clip well to eliminate rotation of the black ambidextrous clip which carries tip up.
