SPYDERCO DRAGONFLY

This is a great little knife with a lot of cutting power. It's ergonomically designed with a comfortable choil for your forefinger and a spine rest for the thumb. Makes an ideal everyday carry for ladies and gents.

The challenge was how to make a very small knife feel like a large voracious cutting tool in any size hand. The Dragonfly is the outcome.

Spyderco began with an AUS-8 stainless steel blade and added a fiberglass reinforced nylon handle. Months of designing and research went into developing the handle so it would feel custom-made to the palm. The C28 allows the user's hand to wrap around a series of rounded off angles, including a flat angle at the base of the knife for the pinkie to rest on. Then the Spyderco Trademark Round Holeä was moved slightly back on the blade. The placement of the hole and the angular handle combine to allow for coordinated, comfortable one-handed opening and closing.

A "cusp" on the top spine of the blade provides a prominent point of grip control for the thumb. Add that to a rounded choil just behind the cutting edge (for the forefinger) and it makes controlling the cut very easy.
