The blade is 3.5"
of 154-CM, in a modified drop point configuration with plenty of belly
for deep cutting. Each knife has been bead blasted or blackened for low
reflectivity in all environments.
The handle is made
of 6061 T6 Aircraft Aluminum, and then hard anodized in either Black or
Jazz coatings. The handle design is replete with features any serious
user needs - an index finger cutout to prevent slippage, grooved thumb
ramp and rear end, lanyard hole, and recessed firing stud.
 We
realize that you can't expect one knife to cover every situation, which
is why we like the TR-3 Tactical - now you can have an attractive
knife for jeans or suit use, while reserving the solid, Tactical
Black model for when your work is a bit more serious; without
having to "adjust" your reflexes for a different knife.
