2008 KS-1730TBLK Kershaw Groove Tanto
We think you'll get into the Groove - including the new Tanto Groove. Designed by custom knifemaker RJ Martin, the Grooves are characterized by a unique 3-D machined blade with a 'groovy' striated pattern, as well as the Flipper opening system.
The Tanto Groove sports a matte black Tanto-sytle blade and Tungsten DLC-coated stainless-stel handles with gray G-10 overlays. The original Groove offers a grooved blade with a slight recurve and stainless-steel handles with G-10 overlays in a wild-looking abstract design.
The Flipper opening system is so unique that it's covered by one or more pending or issued US patents. The Flipper is a one-handed ambidextrous index-finger opening system. The Flipper first builds up pressure, then moves the blade up and out of the handle when the index-finger protusion is pushed on for easy deployment by either left- and right-handed knife users.
All Flipper knives come with a removable pocket clip that can be reversed for tip-up or tip-down carry - so they'll be ready for your next adventure.
