APPLEGATE-FAIRBAIRN COVERT FOLDER
Designed by former
OSS officer, Col. Rex Applegate, the Covert™ is a 3/4 scale, pocket
clip version of the original Applegate-Fairbairn® Combat Folder. Col
Rex Applegate, with over 40 years of knife design experience, is legendary
in the world of knife design and hand-to-hand combat. The Covert™
has a blade length of 3 7/8 inches, making it legal to carry in most municipalities.

The Applegate-Fairbairn®
Covert™ is the first production knife featuring the INTERLOCK™
manual safety lock,  an
innovative new linerlock® system designed and patented by renowned
custom knife makers Ron Lake and Michael Walker. The INTERLOCK™ system
is designed so that once the safety button is engaged, it is nearly impossible
for the blade to unlock without releasing the safety button.
 The
Covert™ will be available in both single edge and double edge versions
( double edged version sharpened on one side only ). Blades are laser
cut of ATS-34 stainless steel with serrations on the back one third of
the edge. There is an opening stud on both sides of the blade, making
the knife perfect for one-handed opening with either the right or left
hand.
 The
liner is made of stainless steel, covered by a grooved and textured handle
molded of glass-filled nylon. The Applegate-Fairbairn® Covert™
comes with a removable pocket clip for convenient carry and accessibility.
