CR-2250 CRKT A.G. Russell Ringer 1 - Skinning Blade with Guthook
A.G.’s new Ringer™ series is about as minimal as knives can get. What makes these two-finger knives so unique is the small tang that A.G. has designed to give better grip and stability. Each comes with a custom-fitted Kydex® sheath and chain which allows carry as a neck knife or in the pocket. All are flat and weigh less than an ounce.
The Ringer 1 features a 1.875” skinning blade with a traditional gut hook, which can also be an emergency seat belt cutter. The sportsman can use this little fellow for dressing and skinning fish, birds and small game.
The Ringer 2 is a great gardening and emergency knife with a 1.75” hawksbill blade. It makes quick work of garden stalks and stems and is also a fast way to cut through entangled lines or nets.
The Ringer 3 is a versatile knife with a 1.75” clip point blade. It is useful for just about any occasional cutting, carving, or skinning task.
No, there’s not much to these skeletonized designs, almost all cut away to save weight. About all that’s left is the cutting power and utility.
