Our new patent-pending* Get-A-Way™ Driver is another creative design by Launce Barber and Tom Stokes which is designed to be an integral part of our I.D. Works™ tool system. The tool itself is a screwdriver; flat and Phillips hex bit carrier with four standard hex bits, two flat and two Phillips; a specialty wrench; bottle opener; and LED flashlight with carry carabiner. Launce and Tom have designed this multi-tool to be as compact and lightweight as possible. Handle length is only 3.75”, and weight is only 1.9 ounces.

In 2007, we introduced the patented* Guppie™, designed by Launce Barber and Tom Stokes. Tom and Launce say, “The Guppie™ was born from the need for a small, pocketable wrench-based tool that could tackle small- to medium-sized jobs. Neil Blackwood breaks into the Benchmade line in a BIG way. At 9.70″ in overall length, the 630 Skirmish precedes any formal introduction– it introduces itself. More surprising than the robust stature though, is how well it handles for its size. The stylish blade form of S30V is physically balanced nicely off the titanium handles, and the looks certainly do not detract. The generous titanium handle provides well for the beefy monolock mechanism to keep things solid. With the 630 Skirmish, size does matter. The 630BK Features a Black BK1 Blade and Grey titanium handle.
